Madre Tierra Press, a hand printed book celebrating the work of thirteen Chicana women will be included in Doin' It in Public: Art and Feminism at the Woman's Building, scheduled to open in the Ben Maltz Gallery, October 2011 as part of the Getty Research initiative in Southern California, Pacific Standard Time: Art in Los Angeles 1945-1980. This exhibition will focus on large scale art projects and collectives that grew out of a relationship or alignment to WB programs and the 1980's Women's Building Graphic Center (WGC) business.

Meg Linton, Director Ben Maltz Gallery, and Sue Maeberry, Project Director, both at Otis College of Art, received funding in 2008 and 2009 for scholars to conduct research, collect videotaped oral histories, and create an exhibition to contextualize the times and bring forward issues that are still relevant today, through our collective stories.
