Create:Fixate Event "Down to Earth" April 21, 2007
CREATE:FIXATE EVENT LOS ANGELES, CA - Arts organization Create:Fixate celebrated Earth Day with themed event “Down to Earth” on Saturday, April 21, 2007. In association with media sponsors Whole Life Times and The Onion, Create:Fixate explored topics of global warming and how we can live more eco-friendly lives. Many non-profit environmental groups and Green companies joined in the festivities to help educate patrons on how they can make a difference. Besides the plethora of visual art from over 30 participants, each artist created a unique piece expressing the evening’s theme. The one-night only art exhibit, complete with a diverse one-of-a-kind musical soundtrack, took place at its new Hollywood location at 1535 Ivar Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90028.
